Always have a laugh at that as it's filmed on December 6th or 7th and they all have to pretend it's live and it's New Year's Eve.

Is it December? I thought it might have been some time before that. Not live, too risky I'd say, having seen Jools live a couple of times. Anyway, the acts were crap this year.

One year they got the timing wrong and it was already New Year when they were doing the countdown.

Didn't see it this year but did last year and that was crap too, Rag and Bone Man was on and was completely out of tune.

Been looking through my vinyl albums today and wishing I'd bought all my albums on vinyl because they're worth more than the CD versions now even though the CDs were more expensive to buy at the time!

Mum's in her final few days now...it's such a relief for her as she's had enough now, but also bloody sad.

I am sorry to hear that Deb but also can relate to the feeling that it is the best for her. Dementia is very very cruel

She's had an extra 12 years from when she first became very ill, so she's not done badly. She'll be on morphine from tomorrow so should be more comfortable then.
