Sihkism is an offshoot of Hinduism. Ask someone who knows more than me for further details.

Looks like everyone except Sikhs used it.

Those people Daft Wailer saw may have been Jains.

Thanks guys, that was all interesting stuff^^

They were kinda flowery Swastikas with a flowery Welcome sign. Yeah, maybe they weren't Sikhs, but it was right next to a Sikh temple so I just assumed.

I always thought the swastika was originally meant as a sign of peace

It has been used for over 5000 years by various cultures across Asia, Eurasia and Europe.

I think it became a symbol of right wing ideologies at the beginning of the 20th century in Germany after archaeologists found it on ancient Germanic artifacts that had been dug up. Some people saw it as a spiritual symbol that was used by their ancestors - or chose to use it as that. Adolf was one of those.

It is mostly associated with the circle of life, or the revolution of the sun.

Roughly translated it means two lesbians got married.

I have no idea why they can't just put lesbian. Gender is not the same as sexuality plus how many people are gender conforming?! and who sets what that is?
