    Oh dear Debs.
There is nothing one can say., it is so difficult to put anything into words.
But your Mother would have known she was loved all her life by her family and those that knew her.

It is those that are left, that feel the pain of death.
    Take care of yourself x

It is harrowing ,as it is the end of an era and a life/your life as you have known it.

    Suddenly you become 'Grown Up'.

Thanks guys. We've had a family get together today, it was fun and she'd have loved it.

That's the way to go Deb - celebrate her life and the good stuff rather than dwelling on the sadness of the end days.

That fun and those memories are her legacy xXxXxx

    Absolutely, Babe. :)
The carers all came in last night to say goodbye, they were all in tears too (mum was a proper sweetie). I was there with my 3 sisters in the night to say goodbye to her, we went home at 6am ish and then returned in the afternoon to sort out her stuff - to find that the carers had put a beautiful big flower on her pillow. That started our eyes leaking again, the carers really do live up to their name. :)

ETA - one of the ladies who used to sit in the same residents lounge as mum has been in tears today too, she said that her own mum wasn't very nice and she would have liked a mum like ours. We've been very lucky. :)
